Terms of Use for CoA Apps

These Terms of Use apply to the CoA Apps website and to the apps and browser extensions featured on it, all created by Carrie on Accessibility. By using this website or any app it links to, you agree to these terms.

Use of the Apps

CoA Apps are provided free of charge, built to solve real accessibility problems for screen reader users, low vision and blind users, and anyone who benefits from a genuinely accessible tool. You're welcome to use them for your own personal or professional purposes.

How These Apps Are Built and Tested

CoA Apps are built with the assistance of AI tools, including Claude (Anthropic) and Gemini (Google) — other AI tools may be used as well as they become useful. AI assistance speeds up the building process, but it does not replace human judgment: every feature is designed, reviewed, and directed by Carrie herself, an accessibility consultant and screen reader user.

Every app is personally tested by Carrie using NVDA and other screen readers, in addition to keyboard-only navigation and low-vision/high-contrast checks, to confirm real-world accessibility — not just automated compliance checks.

No Warranty

These apps are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While care is taken to test each app thoroughly, we can't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for every possible use case.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carrie on Accessibility is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, any CoA Apps product.

Changes to These Terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date.
